San Tropez In-Shower Gradual Tan

Ok so for the past few years I have heard of this mythical product but it wasn’t something available from a brand or shop I knew. Thinking it was too good to be true anyway I resisted the urge to go online and buy it.

When I saw that San Tropez had brought out the product I was pleased because when it comes to tan they know what they are doing and while in recent years I have definitely become a sporadic tanner for a time I was all about San Tropez and had a vast array of products from their family.

So the process:

  • Shower
  • After washing turn off the water and apply the product to wet skin
  • Leave it on for three minutes (three minutes can seem a long time but a good opportunity to leave in your conditioner also)
  • Wash off – just with water (no shower gel), dry and dress

Sounds easy – but what’s the verdict.

Firstly it smelt really nice and I thought it might be tricky to apply on wet skin but the product is thick and it goes and stays on well. I waited the three minutes while the ends of my hair luxuriated in some Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner and rinsed off and got dressed.

It was easy.

The result is extremely subtle – a slight glow but a definite colour difference. I would think most people would need more colour but in fairness it is a gradual tan and you need to build it.

I repeated the next night – application number two left me with a very subtle natural colour, again very natural but I’m pleased with how easy it is to use and I will definitely be adding this to my regulars!

I bought it on http://www.boots.ie It was €19.99 per bottle and there was a 3 for 2 deal on so it wasn’t too bad.ST TROPEZ
