Liz Earle – Cleanse and Polish

I love Liz Earle. It’s an English company, they use organic fair trade and natural ingredients and it’s a brand ethos I really admire. Their products look and smell divine and I think they are very reasonably priced.

So all together for anyone who hasn’t tried them I would check them out asap but in particular Cleanse and Polish.

The product is a cold cream cleanser that is sold with a muslin cloth. You apply one or two pumps to dry hands and massage onto a dry face (no need to remove your make up first). When you are happy that you have properly massaged in the product, which smells amazing, you saturate your muslin cloth in warm or cold water and gently wipe away the product – rinsing your cloth each time. It is the only cleanser I have ever used that makes me feel like I am having a fancy spa treatment or facial just cleaning my own face it really is so lovely to use and really easy too.

I have combination oily skin and use Liz Earle intermittently with another cleanser with more active acne control. It suits all skin types and is just really gentle and lovely to use. You can buy it online, prices are: 100ml Pump is €16 or €17.75 for a starter kit which includes a muslin cloth or 200ml tube is €29.50 or starter kit 31.25 Boots have also started stocking it, which is great news, as before that the only place I could get it in person was Wilde and Green in Milltown.

I love ordering from their website. Everything comes beautifully wrapped and packaged and you always get a freebie! The postal cost is €7.25 standard delivery but I have always avoided that and ordered when they had a special free delivery promotion – which happens frequently.
